KYN-12/24(Z) armored move-open type a.c. metal-enclosed switchgear (also known as high-voltage middle cabinet). KYN-12/24(Z) is a new type of 10/20kV indoor metal-enclosed switchgear developed on the basis of widely absorbing the advantages of similar products at home and abroad. The adopts a center-mounted structure with high technical performance indexes and is suitable for 3-24kV three-phase AC, 50Hz indoor single-bus or single-bus segmented power distribution system, which is used in power plants, industrial and mining enterprises and institutions, buildings and hotels, municipal construction and petrochemical departments for accepting and distributing electric energy, as well as for controlling, protecting and monitoring the electric circuits.

▶ Structural characteristics
The switchgear consists of two main parts: the cabinet and the center-mounted withdrawable part (i.e., handcart). The cabinet is divided into four separate compartments: busbar compartment, circuit breaker compartment, cable compartment and relay instrumentation compartment. It has overhead inlet/outlet lines, cable inlet/outlet lines and other functional programs, and can be arranged and combined to become a variety of programs in the form of power distribution equipment. The switchgear can be installed, commissioned and maintained from the front, so it can be installed back-to-back in a double arrangement and against a wall, which improves the safety and flexibility the switchgear and reduces the floor space.
The skeleton of the trolley is also assembled by thin steel plate processed by CNC machine. Mechanical interlocking is safe, reliable and flexible. According to different applications, the handcart is divided into circuit breaker handcart, voltage transformer handcart, metering handcart, isolation handcart and so on. Various types of handcarts according to module, building block type changes, the same specification handcarts can be 100% free interchangeable. Handcart in the cabinet body have exit (isolation) position and working position, each position are respectively positioning device to ensure reliable interlocking, must be interlocked according to the anti-misoperation program for . All kinds of trolleys adopt worm wheel and worm gear to push forward and withdraw, and their operation is light and flexible, which is suitable for all kinds of on-duty personnel to operate. When the trolley needs to move away from the cabinet, it can be conveniently taken out with a special transfer trolley for all kinds of inspection and ; moreover, it adopts the center-mounted type, and the whole trolley is small in size, which is extremely convenient for inspection and maintenance.
The switchgear is equipped with safe and reliable interlocking devices to prevent misoperation, fully meeting the requirements of the five defenses.
1. The door of the instrumentation room is equipped with a prompting button or a KK type changeover switch to prevent incorrect closing and disconnecting of the circuit breaker.
2、Circuit breaker trolley in the test or working position, the circuit breaker can only be closed and divided operation, and the circuit breaker is closed, the trolley can not be moved, to prevent the load with the wrong push and pull the circuit breaker.
3. The circuit breaker trolley can only be moved from the open position to the operating position when the earthing switch is in the open position. The grounding switch can only be closed when the circuit breaker trolley is in the open position (the grounding switch can be equipped with a voltage display device). This prevents the earth switch from being closed inadvertently and prevents the circuit breaker from being closed when the earth switch is in the closed position.
4. When the grounding switch is in the open position, neither the lower door nor the rear door can be opened, preventing accidental entry into the energized intervals.
5. When the circuit breaker handcart is really in the test or working position, and there is no control voltage, it can only manually open the gate, but not close it.
6. When the circuit breaker handcart is in the working position, the secondary plug is locked and cannot be removed.
7. Each cabinet can be equipped with electric out lock.
