HXGN-12(L) type indoor AC metal-enclosed SF6 switchgear (hereinafter referred to as "SF6 ring network cabinet") is a new generation of compact and expandable metal-enclosed switchgear which uses sulfur hexafluoride load switch as the main switch and the whole cabinet is insulated by air, and is suitable for power distribution automation.
The main components of SF6 ring main unit are sulfur hexafluoride load switch and high voltage current-limiting fuse combination, which is an expandable structure with a complete set of primary solutions, such as overhead line or feeder cabinet, transformer protection cabinet, contact cabinet, metering cabinet, etc., which can fully meet the requirements of all kinds of wiring.
SF6 ring mains cabinets are suitable for three-phase AC rated frequency 50-60Hz, rated voltage 12kV ring power supply or double-radial power supply system as the control and protection device of the circuit. It is widely used in industrial and civil cable ring networks and power supply terminals.
Particularly suitable for small secondary distribution stations, box-type substations, open and close, industrial and mining enterprises, urban residential areas, airports, railroads, tunnels, high-rise buildings and other power systems as the acceptance and distribution of electric energy.

The ring network cabinet is divided into busbar room, fuse and cable room and instrument room, which are separated into compartments by metal plates, and all compartments are reliably grounded. The ring network cabinet is allowed to be mounted against the wall, and there should be enough space for cable installation and junction when the front door is opened, as well as easy replacement or maintenance of fuses and other components.
The load switch, earth switch, fuse and front door have the following mechanical interlocks to meet the "five security" requirements:
a. Operation of the grounding switch is permitted only after the load switch has been tripped;
b. Ground switch is closed before the front door is allowed to be opened;
C. Ground switch cannot be tripped until front door is closed;
d. The load switch cannot be closed or held in the closed before the fuse or impinger is replaced.
